Betty Jane Duncan, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Springfield, she was the devoted daughter of William and Catherine Duncan. Remaining in the area, Betty worked as a medical technician for many years. She was extremely talented and loved to cross-stitch, knit, and needlepoint. Betty believed in giving back by supporting many organizations and volunteering to knit hats for newborns at the local hospital. She was proud of her Scottish heritage and family roots. Her neighbors, friends and family meant the world to her. Now at rest, Betty has joined her parents. in eternity. A graveside service will be held at Island Pond Cemetery in Ludlow on Wednesday, April 3rd , at
12:30.
