Obituary for Daniel E. Yelle
Daniel E. Yelle, 66, owner of Yelle Home Improvements Co. of Ludlow, died unexpectedly on Friday May 11th. Born in Holyoke, the son of the late Norman and Amelia “Millie” (Fernandes) Yelle, he lived all of his life in Ludlow. Dan enjoyed life , especially playing cards, spending time on his computer, and was an avid fan of any Boston sports team. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Gary Yelle. He leaves his beloved wife of over 44 years, Deborah (Dion) Yelle, 2 sons; Jason of Salem Or. and Lorin of Louisville Ky., 3 grandchildren; Alura, Asher and Imogen, and 2 aunts; Marie Lapierre and Claire Jagadowski. A Celebration of Life services will be held Friday evening at 6 PM at the Ludlow Funeral Home. with visiting hours prior to the service from 4:00-6:00pm . In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ludlow Ambulance Fund or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
