Obituary for Grace (Jorge) Evangelista
Gracinda (Jorge) Evangelista, 87, of Ludlow passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Born and raised in Ludlow she was the daughter of Jose and Luciana (Morgado) Jorge. Grace was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and operated Frank’s Diner for many years alongside her husband Val and her sister Mary. She was the beloved wife of the late Valentine Evangelista who predeceased her in 2008. Grace leaves her loving son Gary Evangelista of Ludlow; adored grandchildren Gary Jr. of Ludlow and Sara Evangelista of San Diego; caring nephew Frank Evangelista as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Also her loving dog, snickers. Sadly Grace was predeceased by her sister Mary and brothers Fermino, Joseph, John and Virgilio. Funeral services for Grace will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2018. Visiting hours are from 8:30am-11:15am with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 12:00pm in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
