Obituary for James Queiros
James Queiros, 85, of Ludlow passed away on Monday, October, 22, 2018. Born and raised in Ludlow he was a lifelong resident and faithful communicant of Christ the King Parish. He worked for many years as a Mechanical Engineer at Smith and Wesson before retiring. He is survived by his wife Evelyn (Nowak) Queiros; loving father to James Jr. and his wife Donna of Wethersfield, Ct., Donna Queiros and husband Ron Duchesne and Lynn Queiros Charbonneau all of Ludlow; proud grandfather to Matt and Amelia Gulbrandsen, Maren and Jon Farrell, Zachary and Briana Charbonneau and James Queiros and his fiance Dana Kephart; great grandfather to Aksel Gulbrandsen, further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. James will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband, grandfather, great grandfather, engineer, golfer, camper, beach lover and dancing with his beloved wife. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Funeral services for James will be held on Monday, October 29th, 2018 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Monday morning only from 8:15-10:15am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated in Christ the King Parish at 11:00am. Burial will be held privately by his family. In lieu of flowers the family has please requested donations be made in James’ memory to the Alzheimer's Association @ALZ.org.
