Obituary for Michael Joseph Ottomaniello Sr.
Michael J Ottomaniello Sr. 77, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 6, 2018. Born in Holyoke to Philomena and Nicholas Sr, he had 2 brothers, Nicholas Jr and his twin, David, all deceased. Mike was known for being a loyal lifetime Red Sox and Patriots fan, local little league coach, a former president of the Ludlow Lions Club, and was an active member of St Elizabeth's parish. He had a gift of love for children and was Papa Mike to many.He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend of 51 years, Joyce ( Gorman), his daughters, Dianne Ottomaniello and Dawn French, a son Michael Jr, wife, Mary. He leaves 2 cherished grandchildren, Rebeccah Szczygiel and Austin Ottomaniello. Celebration of Life Services for Michael will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 8:15-10:15am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Parish at 11:00am. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers it was the wish of Michaels family that donations be made in his memory to the Ludlow Senior Center.
