Obituary for Rosa Sameira (Dias) Touchette
Rosa Sameira (Dias) Touchette, 55, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019 in the loving arms of her husband. Born in Angola, daughter of the late Joao and Ana (Mendes) Dias, she was a longtime Ludlow resident where she was a graduate of Ludlow High School. Rosa worked for many years at Carando Foods, and in her spare time she enjoyed taking trips to the beach, planting flowers, and shopping; but her greatest joy was taking long rides with the love of her life, her husband Jeff. Rosa was the beloved wife of 15 years to Jeffrey A. Touchette; a loving mother to Kimberly Branco; the cherished sister of Ana Larouco, the late John Dias (2005) and his widow Lina, and the late Maria Dias (2017), a dear sister-in-law to Debbie Ghidoni and husband Vic, Linda Ferrentino and husband Louie, Robert Touchette and wife Sally, and Jose Larouco; and also leaves many loving godchildren, nieces, nephews, a great niece, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Visiting hours for Rosa are on Thursday, January 17th from 4:00-7:00pm in Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral services are on Friday, January 18th at 10:00am from the funeral home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosa’s memory to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org)
